Wonderful, Wonderful Times

Just want to record down a bit of my life here.

Today:

1. Breakfast (Met the lovely kitchen lady again, she has 5 children!)
2. Reading studying materials
3. Seminar (Found out a breaking news, I mean heart-breaking one)
4. Tesco Shopping (it took an hour, and I carried them back like a dog, walking for 30 minutes at least)
5. Tea+Lunch
6. Reading Magazine (Q Magazine & GQ, yes, I know it's a bit of pretentious)
7. Reading Elfriede Jelinek (Yeah! Finally I started to READ something seriously.  It is quite suffocating)

Plan to:
1. Cook 1 dish and headed to my friend's flat to eat together
2. Watch Movie ("Lemming" a French Movie)
3. Do a bit of reading again
4. Sleep (Harmoniously)

The last few days:

0. With Lau A and Yeung T spending the mid-autumn festival here in Warwick with me! And with MOONCAKES from Maxim's too! What's more I could ask for?  We hang around together really happily and we cooked a whole lot!

No one can beat that!  We were cooking rice in a PAN! and we have fried cabbages, fried broccoli with egg, and pork chop!  All in Hong Kong style!!!

1. Watched "Volver" (The kitchen paper with floral prints, soaked in blood.  It is beauty and brutality and psycho)
2. Watched "Confetti" (a British mockumentary, quite as funny as our "the Heavenly Kings 四大天王")
3. Queued up at HSBC, applying for a credit card, but after 2 hours of queuing what I got is "You can't have a credit card unless your account has been activated for 3-6 months at least".  THANK YOU.
4. Got some really cheap books from OXFAM.
5. Still waiting for my 34-kg parcel (Gosh! I need to collect it from postroom which is 20 minutes away from my dorm. I know I won't survive!)
6. Did my first laundry yesterday.  It was pretty cool that the clothes are nearly all dried overnight (then you can imagine how DRY it is in my room! The heater I guess)
7. Making cooking my habit
8. Read more on my campus.  There are just a lot of lawn and greens that I should exploit them a bit.  The environment is excellent for reading or just meditating (dreaming)!

I found that MUSIC is quite an essential-survival-kit here.  As the surroundings are always a bit TOO quiet and tranquil.
