Back to Life

Finally
I am back to normal life

It's been really hard to upload pics as they r too big n my net is too slow
there's always dilemmas in life

Have a glimpse at them

This is the lake outside my dorm.  Though I am not getting Lakeside as residence, I discovered that we actually share the lake.  So I am quite satisfy with Heronbank too.

I think geese might be the second-most-representative-national-animal of England apart from pigeons.  They were fighting on that day, and they got really nosy and noisy in the morning.

This is the little path that leads to my dorm.  I am living in Flat 100, so there are really around 100 sth flats in here.  And the most interesting thing is that they are all connected.  Once, I was too bored that I try to push through all the doors to reach the end of the court, and then i just return.  But the most curious thing is You don't really see much people fooling around.  It seems that I am the only one that is fooling around all the time.

Show you a bit of my little nest.
As my parcel is still on its way, I still havent get all the things I need.  Anyway, This is the place where I mostly work on, with that Johnny Depp "Ed Wood" on my left, and Great Britain on my right, makes me feel much better.
I can say that my room is absolutely cosy and big, except that it's on the G/F, so I can't really always open my curtains and move around the room in front of everybody.

This is my bed.  And yes, this is a bit to show off cos I have two Jonathan Rhy Meyers on top of me every night (!) and I have this lovely Toni Takitani guarding me on the wall.  Back on my bed, I have my own pillow, but unfortunately my parcel hasn't come so I can't have my own linen.  And that small thing just above my clothe, is my "Towel Towel B".  He is sleeping with me every night to soothe me a bit.

This pic is for Kiki Cheung.  Think of you immediately when I saw Tony Takitani.

All your blessings are here with me.  Keep me work.  Keep me live a life.

Sunshine and Breakfast (Tesco Cereals)

I want to show you more about my life here, but there are so many factors I need to take care of.
1. The weather
2. Did I bring my cam
3. Did my computer work
4. Did the network get really slow
5. Am I lazy
6. Am I busy
7. Am I depressed

That's why.

During the Orientation, I have been to some nearby towns (small enough to be known as "towns" only, who cares).  One of them is the famous Stratford-upon-avon, the place where great great William Shakespeare was born and led a life in.

This is one of the most typical building in Stratford, which I like very much.  The black thing in between is timber.  My theory is that in this case, they won't easily catch fire and at the same time have a good insulation of coldness.  Anyway, they just look beautiful.  And this is the hometown of Shakes, so aesthetic should precede everything.

And the Warwick Castle is definitely a must-see!

This pair of twins are so cute that they dance all the way through!
And there are peacocks walking all over the castle garden, and apparently, they like to be fed on chocolate brownies!  How English!

So basically
I have been messed around here and not really getting started on my academic work
As you can see from the photos
I didn't really engage in some seriously intellectual stimulation in here by then

But school has been started two days ago
so I guess I should be having a hectic life afterwards
My classmates are really cool as they all have different job experiences
which make me an idiot there
And the learning atmostphere is really good in class
hopefully I will be learning as much as possible from my classmates

P.S. One of my classmates is a Mexican and he plays Bass in a band back in Mexico!  He is really cool!!!  I really fall in love with him!  How come every youngster in this universe has engaged in their dream once in a while but never we HK people?

And I really love my campus
It's like a real countryside
Though there are parties going on in the Student Union every night
I plan to hang around with the Postgrad instead of getting any of those Clubbing life
And though it's a bit boring staying here all day long
I guess I could have just be relaxed and enjoy the layback lifestyle of the Brits

And what's more
there is an on-campus Art Centre here (which is really famous not only to students here)
so basically I got theatre, cinema, music and operas going every day

Tonight I have watched Volver in there
I never thought I could have watched it in here with 2.5 pounds only!
Long live Warwick Arts Centre!!!

And I am going to watch this next week:

And this is now on my computer background:

He is damn cool! (in "Babel")
